“It feels like I am going home,” Joe Biden told reporters as he entered the White House on Inauguration Day. While he’s only a few months into his presidency, Biden has been a part of the American political history ever since he was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972 At 29 years old, he was the sixth-youngest senator in American history.
Since then, he’s been reelected to the Senate six times; served as Barack Obama’s Vice President over his two terms; and campaigned for the presidency three times, before assuming the top job as the 46th President of the United States.
